Belief in Jesus Christ, Lord and savior, His atoning sacrifice on the cross for ones sins, and
His resurrection from the dead is what it takes to be "Born Again". As a consequence God sends the Holy Spirit to baptize
and indwell the believer.
The predicate to this supernatural event lies in the following biblical truths:
1.The Bible is the inspired, and only infallible, authoritative, Word of God. It has supreme authority in all matters
of faith and conduct.
2.There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3.The credentials of Christ is His deity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, and His miracles; as well as His vicarious and
atoning death, through His shed blood, is efficacious as the basis for reconciliation between a holy God and sinful man. His
bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His high-priestly intercession after ascending, by His
blood, for His own,(1John 1:7-10} and His promised personal and visible return to earth in power and great glory are all credentials
of belief after salvation.
4. I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who has come to convince the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgment,
and by whose baptism we are "born again". I believe by whose indwelling the Holy Spirit
enables a Christian to live a Godly life and insures their eternal life in Jesus Christ.
5. I believe that all are born in sin and that belief in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential for salvation.(Jn.3:16).
6.Salvation is NOT tentative, dependent upon the life of one who is saved. It is given with NO conditions except a life not
lived in faith will bring no rewards to the "Born Again" believer.
"No man can come to me, except the Father, who has sent me, draw him; and I will raise him up
at the last day" (Jn.6:44).
The elect, to whom grace was given in Christ before the world was made, will live forever.
GENERAL SCRIPTURES CONCERNING SALVATION:
ROMANS 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
JOHN 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me.
1 JOHN 5:11-13 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the
Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the
name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1 JOHN 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works,
lest any man should boast.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things
are become new.
ROMANS 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised
him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
JOHN 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
JOHN 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
ISAIAH 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the
iniquity of us all.
HEBREWS 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
ROMANS 5:8 But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
ROMANS 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
1 PETER 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put
to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
MARK 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Baptized Into Christ: The Born Again Baptism
This is the most important baptism of all, it is the greatest experience this side of Heaven, and the only baptism that saves.
It is the New Birth baptism, the point of salvation, when a genuinely repentant sinner first believes and receives the Lord
Jesus Christ into their heart. They become a righteous child of God, saved by simple faith in the finished work of Christ.
This baptism is spiritual, invisible, but profoundly real, and must precede water baptism. The new believer is taken out of
the devil's realm and baptized into Christ by the Holy Spirit Himself. Out of the authority of Satan and into the kingdom
of God. All their guilt, sin and shame are instantly removed by the grace of God. Christ's eternal life comes into their spirits,
they die to their old-self, and begin a new life in Christ.

| IT IS BEAUTIFUL TO WE WHO BELIEVE |
"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom.10:17).
Those in Jesus Christ are the "called out ones". Called out from what? From your old life, in and of the world, and yourself.
Through your belief in the gospel and Christ's finished work on your behalf, you were crucified with him on the cross and
your old dead self died with Him. You were born again. Glory to God. Then you were raised with him and become a new creation
in Christ Jesus. You recieved The Holy Spirit who indwells your body. He will never leave you and will be your guide and
comforter in your walk in life, a new life that can only be lived thru Christ. Read The Book of John Chapters 14 thru 17 for
an understanding of The Spirit's ministry.
ARE YOU A SON OF GOD FROM ETERNITY PAST?
"For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counts the costs, whether
he has sufficient to finish it?
Lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
Saying, this man began to build, and was not able to finish" (Lk.14:28-30).
We will not fall backwards for salvation was in our heart before we were first born. And we will grow in wisdom and
grace for the Lord will lead us through this world for His glory and our maturation in Him. The battle will rage in us and
in the world but we are victorious in Him. He guarantees that by His finished work for us and His priestly ministry with
the Father. We will make it no matter what the costs! He keeps His word.
Faith is believing. To have faith in God is to believe Him (Jn.1:12; 3:16; 6:47; 20:29; Acts
8:37; Eph.3:17; 2:8; Gal.5:22).
The essence of faith consists in believing and receiving what God has revealed. It may be defined as that trust in the God
of the scriptures and in Jesus Christ whom He has sent, which recieves Him as Lord and Savior and impels to loving obedience
and good works (Jn.1:12; Jas.2:14-2).
The gift of faith is from GOD by grace through Jesus Christ The Lord (Isa.28:16; 45:22: Jn.12:46; 2Cor.13:5;
Rom.12:3; Mt.9:29; Rom.4:20).
SEE Heb. Chap11 for the meat of faith that Paul shares with us.
I GIVE GLORY TO THE LORD
"I failed. I couldn't make it in the world. All my efforts to become a big shot disintergrated into ashes
and my bank account went down the drain.
Yet will I give glory to the Lord.
I lost all my connections with the elite. My friends stopped calling me. Even the Judges at the Supreme Court told me to get
lost. My blood family said the prayer for the dead and never spoke to me again.
I give praise and glory to the Lord.
I became a homeless person. The bag ladies were my sisters and the drunks and disturbed my brothers. I slept on the street
in a van and the rich around me in their beautiful houses never invited me to dinner. I was like a leper and an outcast. A
basket case they could not understand.
Yet did I give glory to the Lord."
You who are in Christ, living by faith and richly blessed by God's grace, undeserved, are most blessed of all people on
earth. God looks after us always and His will can be done in our life when we are in His Spirit and not our lost nature.
Is there any better guaranty of our eternal security then Jesus? God forbid. And though your life will change dramatically
when you are in The Spirit directed by God, you will find out that God's will brings you a new and real life that is amazing
grace. The costs will seem trite compared to the untold riches found in Jesus now and forever.
DONT BE TROUBLED. IF YOU ARE TRULY SAVED GOD WILL GET YOU THROUGH IT ALL AND YOU WILL BE
GREATLY BLESSED (JOHN 17:9-17).
And you too, like Paul, will testify that what you lost for Jesus is your gain and what you had
before is like filthy rags and dung compared to your riches in Christ Jesus The Lord.
"He that believes on me has everlasting life" (Jn.6:47).
